Rank upgrades are based on operational experience, required milestone badges, trainer review, and a selected type-rating path permitted by the next rank. Hours alone do not promote a pilot. A rank only allows the pilot to request type ratings; aircraft access requires the approved family rating.
This is the pilot's current company assignment. Promotion gates, required milestones, and trainer evaluation are managed in the Next Rank Qualification panel.

Select one aircraft family permitted by the next rank. This creates a separate type-rating review. The pilot receives access only after Training approves that family.
Basic line check, clean operational record, and one First Officer type-rating path are required before approval.
Pilot must show dispatch discipline, stable tracker use, clean basic operation, and no active failed or retry-required training review.
Rank upgrade requests are not automatic. When the requirements are complete, the pilot chooses one permitted type-rating path for the next rank. Training staff reviews the rank upgrade and the type-rating request before publishing the final decision.
Initial company rank. Pilot starts building experience under standard company operating rules.
Line pilot level after initial experience, consistent operations, and basic company familiarity.
Experienced first officer with stronger route knowledge, operational discipline, and reliability.
Command level pilot with strong decision-making, flight discipline, and company trust.
High-experience captain with consistent performance, operational maturity, and leadership example.
Training authority level. Four bars with star for instructors, check-flight support, and pilot development.
